Thanks to Coupons In Motion for this sponsored review and giveaway.

Are you in the process of potty training? Hate cleaning out the potty chair? Tidy Tot Potty Chair Liners is the product for you!

Convenient, more sanitary and hygienic potty training products as an answer to the mess of potty training. A solution to disgusting and unsanitary public restrooms when you are away from home.

Tidy Tots™ disposable potty chair liners are designed to fit in most any potty chair. Simply cover the removable bowl of your potty chair with a Tidy Tots™ plastic disposable potty liner, smooth it into place, and add a Tidy Tots ™ super-absorbent pad. The super-absorbent pad is designed to absorb more than your child can create in one sitting, so you can choose to change the liner after each use or wait for 2-3 uses. When finished, simply remove the liner from the removable potty chair bowl, pull the drawtape closure and tie it closed. Simply discard the liner just as you would dispose of a diaper.

An idea for a parent on the go! Potty training shouldn’t limit your schedule or that of your child. Take your potty chair in your vehicle along with a Tidy Tots™ disposable potty chair liner and avoid the public restroom nuisance.

For those that don’t know, my 6 year old son, Elijah, was diagnosed with Autism (specifically Asperger’s) and Sensory Integration Disorder. He dislikes a lot of textures, smells, taste and slimey-ness of a lot of foods (as well as the feel of clothing, noises around him, people touching him and so on). He went to food therapy for a few months and did fairly well opening up to playing/touching the foods at that time. Since then we’ve been working with him at home but Elijah didn’t really like the idea of trying to eat the new foods. It’s always been a fight trying to get him to eat the same meal for dinner that everyone else in the household has. I usually end up making a separate meal for him about 5 nights a week just so we don’t have the same “fight” every night.

Now, out of the blue, he has been very open to trying new foods without a fight! I have started with things that I know he likes.

For example, we found out he likes Potato and Noodle Stroganoff last week. He has always liked potatoes. And he likes hamburger. So I made potato strognoff, told him and showed him as I cooked it what everything was. He sat down by himself (I took my daughter in the other room with me) to give him privacy. He came to me a few moments later with an empty bowl and asked for more!

A few days later, I made the same thing but with noodles this time. And I told him what was in it. He did the same; ate two bowls! And today, he ate Fettucine Alfredo for the first time and loved it. Said he wants the broccoli next time!

And he is liking a lot of the foods that I make on a regular basis now. So maybe we will finally have the chance for everyone to have the same meal for dinner the majority of the time rather than having the “food fight” rule over our dinners.

PS: He does NOT normally sit alone to eat his meals. I did this a few times with him to give him the space and comfort level he needed to try these new foods out. I personally think if he’s in his own “bubble” he is more open to trying new things whether it be food or anything else.

Today, Mama-Hood.com received a new facelift! Simple yet colorful and perfect for spring. Just like many things in life, a blog’s design can make or break the mood. I needed something new for some goals that I have created for myself in my blogging journey. It’s actually the same layout that I had originally created a few YEARS back, but just changed the header, background and color scheme. It doesn’t take too much to make such a drastic change.

Organize my online life. I say this because I do a LOT online. I am very anti-social in the real world and blogging is my way to express myself, cure boredom, communicate with others and much more. The need to organize social media networks and blogs (I do have a handful of them) is much needed so everything can run much smoother.

Create a blogging Schedule. I will be setting aside specific days to post on each blog. This way I don’t blog ONLY in one spot and not enough in others.

Complete my blog plan. For starters, I am going to make this blog, Mama-hood.com, my “go-to” blog. Everything from personal/family posts, homeschooling, frugal living, matters involving bipolar (that’s me) and autism (the little man) will all be posted here. I will post excerpts to reviews & giveaways that you will be able to find over at my other blog Simply Random Reviews. I will be starting with these two and working my way down the list of others as time goes by.

I will update later this week more on my goals and possibly…just possibly a free printable to help myself & others out with this will be in the works as well!

Disclaimer: This post is For Adults Only!
While this blog post is family-friendly, links included may take you to pictures that are potentially inappropriate or offensive to some readers.

I have been shopping at EdenFantasys for a little over 6 months now. I can tell you, while I may take a break of shopping from there from time to time, I will not ever give up my EF! I’ve purchased a wide variety of items from the online adult shop now and I wanted to share my top 5 favorite non-toy related purchases.

5. Fresh fiore creamy body wash – bath and shower gel
This bottle of body is my favorite. I just ran out earlier this week and am awaiting a new one to show up at my door step. The scent is LOVELY to say the least that lasts for hours. Not over powering, but baby powder-ish (with a hint of fruity-ness as well). I do like the matching lotions as well, but this is a MUST-HAVE in my life now.

4. Indulge eau de parfum – perfume
My favorite perfume of all time now! Like the body wash mentioned previously, this perfume is lightly scented in which is a must around our house with family members that suffer from sensory disorders and allergy issues. I have used this one since before Christmas with no issues from anyone.

3. Intimate caress shave cream – shaving foam
I will NEVER shave again without this shaving cream. I personally have this in Honey Suckle. It may take only 2…possibly 3 bottles of this stuff to shave for an entire year! It doesn’t take much to cover the area to shave (goes on thin like a lotion, doesn’t really foam up). I use very basic cheap razors to shave with and this cream allows me to have great smoothness and hydrates the skin very well.

2. Lockable sex toy case – storage container
For all those naughty’s that need to be put up away from the kidlets, pets and nosy guests. Great quality and cute. E’nuff said!

1. Sex in the Shower dual shower head – sensual bath
And the number one FAVORITE purchase that I have made from EdenFantasys is this dual shower head. Whether showering alone, or with my partner, there’s plenty of streaming water to cover everyone and everything. We’ve used this from individual showers, lining up kids + pets and throwing them through there one at a time in a military-like line. It’s well worth the price (I honestly would have paid double now that I know the quality of this product)!

Now take a moment and browse EdenFantasys for yourself to see what kind of goodies you can turn into a favorite of your own! And as always, don’t forget that you can view all the current promotions and grab a free gift with each order, that you can find by clicking on those links in the header of the site.

Disclaimer: EdenFantasys, an online retailer of sex toys, provided me with a gift card in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

My children have many allergies. Making homemade crafts & cleaning supplies are one way I can control what they come in contact with. Here are a few ‘recipes’ for craft supplies that I have gathered over time.

Glitter

Supplies:
1c salt
ziploc bag
food coloring
cookie sheet

Instructions:
Seperate salt into piles, and mix each pile with food coloring in a ziploc bag. Spread salt our on a cookie sheet and let dry. Store extra glitter in a tupperware container. Best of all glitter made fr
om salt can’t cut your eyes like regular store bought glitter.

Modeling Clay

Supplies:
1c. salt
2c. flour
1c. water
food coloring to tint

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together for about 5 minutes and then it is ready to use. To keep the clay from drying out you can store it in tuperware containers.

Chalk

Supplies:
1/2 c. plaster of paris
almost 1/4 c. water
powdered tempera paint
mixing bowl
an ice cube tray.

Instructions:
Mix the plaster of paris and most of the water together, add 1-2 tbs. of tempera paint and mix well. Add enough water to thicken mixture. Pour into ice cube tray and let dry, then just pop it out and it is ready to use.

Finger Paints

Supplies
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup water
1 bar hypo-allergenic soap
food stuff dyes

Procedure:
Grate bar of soap until it is in fine shreds. Melt with 1/2 cup water over med heat. In a bowl combine cornstarch, 1/2 cup water, and melted soap mixture. Stir to blend. Let mixture sit and thicken. Divide into as many separate bowls as you want colors (so for 6 colors, use 6 bowls) Stir in ‘colors”

For colors: Get creative…you can mix 1/4 cup fruit juices with 2 cups of water, or you can add the juice from canned beets (straight instead of water). For browns you can use tea, for yellow you can mix turmeric with a little bit of water to make a paste. Once your dough is prepared, you can kneed in the colors.

NOTE: For thicker consistency paint: Mix 1 packet of gelatin with 1/4 cup of water. Add to the cornstarch, water and melted soap mixture.

Play Dough

Supplies:
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of salt
1 cup cool water
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbs cream of tartar
Wax paper

Procedure:
Stir together flour, cream of tartar, salt and oil. Slowly mix in the water. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently until dough becomes stiff. Spread onto wax paper and let cool. Kneed dough with your hands until it reaches the desired consistency.

Note: You can add a few drops of color after you stir in the water (over the heat) to get colored dough. Get creative…you can mix 1/4 cup fruit juices with 2 cups of water, or you can add the juice from canned beets (straight instead of water). For browns you can use tea, for yellow you can mix turmeric with a little bit of water to make a paste. Once your dough is prepared, you can kneed in the colors.

With the New Year, it’s a great time to spend more time on a New You! That’s one of my New Year’s Resolutions for 2012. Spend more time on myself. Even if that’s a few extra minutes soaking in a warm bath, using more quality bath and beauty products, getting out of the sweats and putting a little bit of make up on, especially when I walk out of the house. The last half of 2012 did take a little toll on me, however plan to change that around! I created a wishlist with some new bath & beauty products EdenFantasys and these are a few that I’ll be ordering in the very near future.

The Bellina box includes a reusable box that would be great to store nail polishes, clippers, files, etc. The box is filled with full size bottles of Cattiva Diva silky hand cream, Dolce dreams whipped body lotion, Fresh fiore creamy body wash and the Principessa shower pouf. I’m a fan of full bath sets like these and can’t wait to give this one a try!

I am also looking forward to trying out the Bagno bliss – bath and shower gel and Amore afterglow salt buff – scrub. I think my skin needs a good scrub and these products from Principessa look and sound amazing. So why don’t you head on over to EdenFantasys yourself to see what you can find to help improve the New You too?!

- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -

I got another package from EdenFantasys today. I was excited to say the least! I’ve taken advantage of the bath + beauty products that they’ve recently added to their online store, widely known for their adult toys.

There’s quite a few Cake products available. I picked out the Desserted Island Supreme Body Mousse. It smells so great; Tahitian coconut + vanilla. I also picked out the Winter WonderLips flavored lip gloss trio set. I can’t have enough lip glosses around here and these are good quality + helps moisturize well. I’ve thrown one in my purse, one in the bathroom and the other sits at my desk.

I also grabbed the KamaSutra Intimate Caress ultra-rich moisturizing shave creme for women in Honeysuckle scent. Smells fabulous! I will be trying it out tonight and I’ll update with my opinion on it.

My favorite of the products I received, was the Shunga bath + shower gel in Exotic Fruits scent. Made me want to go jump in the shower ASAP! Everytime I smell it, I can pick out a different fruit from banana, berries and melons.

- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – -

If you haven’t checked out their bath + beauty products yet, go for it! Don’t forget, that for every purchase, you can also click on the “Free Gift” image in the header of the website to choose from available items such as tshirts, tote bag, toy cleaning wipes and occasionally even free sex toys.
